Introduction:
Hardanger Bridge Norwegian Hardangerbrua is a suspension bridge across the Hardangerfjorden in Hordaland county, Norway. The bridge connects the municipalities of Ullensvang and Ulvik.
Purpose of the bridge
The bridge improves travel and transport locally in the inner Hardanger area. The travel and transport between Odda and Voss, between Bergen and Hardanger, and towards the upper part of Hallingdal is also made easier.
The traffic on the bridge is only estimated for 2000 vehicles per day.The opening of the bridge took place on 17 August 2013.
