Lake Baikal Russian region of Siberia

Lake Baikal Mongolian:  Baygal nuur, meaning "nature lake" is a rift lake in the south of the Russian region of Siberia, between the Irkutsk Oblast to the northwest and the Buryat Republic to the southeast.
