Getting there:
Horse Head Rock is a 5 minute drive from the town of Bermagui or a 5 hour drive from Sydney. There are heaps of places to stay while you’re down there (or up there, depending on where you’re from) either in Narooma or Bermagui. Luckily, there is parking fairly close by. We parked in the Camel Rock carpark, at the end of a little dirt track.
Introduction:
Located just north of Bermagui on the NSW South Coast, this area has many large stone features- you feel as though you are walking through an ancient land. Everywhere you look there are new dramatic rocks to photograph.
Best shot time:
the best time to shoot is obviously at sunrise. That’s not to say you can’t have luck at sunset, but it’s generally more of a gamble with the likeliness of good light/colour.
