Location:
Located in the Maamanuca Island chain, about 15 miles southwest of Nadi, Tavarua is a heart shaped island. - approximately 24 acres of paradise surrounded by water water everywhere.
Activities:
Activities on Tavarua include surfing, sport fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking to name a few. There is also a pool, spa, workout facility and tennis court along with a restaurant facility and two bars.
Getting there:
A Tavarua Island bus or van will meet you at the airport and transport you to the boat launch, where an island boat will take you out to the island. The van ride is about 35-45 minutes and the boat ride is an additional 20-25 minutes. The van or bus is air conditioned for comfort. Porters will help with your luggage and board bags. It is a good idea to have some slaps or thongs for this trip – especially at lower tides.
