Introduction:
June Lake is a census-designated place in Mono County, California.It is located against the southern rim of the Mono Basin.The majority of the developed community is spread narrowly along a five-mile stretch of California State Route 158.,which is also known as the June Lake Loop Road, or in the populated areas, Boulder Drive.

Facilities:
Drinking water is availabe. Flush toilets are available. 14 Day stay limit. Each site is equipped with a bear locker. Campsites are located in a mixed Aspen and pine forest on the shoreline of  June Lake. Ease of access to June Lake fishing, marina, and boat rentals make this a favorite spot for both families and anglers. Gift shopping, groceries, and restaurants are within walking distance in the town of June Lake.

Hiking:
Hiking is a favorite pastime of the area: June Lake offers many trails that lead into the nearby back country of the Ansel Adams Wilderness Area. Most of the hikes, including Fern Lake, Reversed Peak, and Agnew Lake are strenuous and vertical,[19] with the exception of the Parker Lake Trail which is a 2 mile hike that only climbs 400 feet in elevation
