Introduction:
Port Blanc in Brittany is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest.
Tourism:
Saint-Pierre-Quiberon and the Wild Coast are quite well known for attracting many tourists. The population increases tenfold during the two months of summer vacation. The many fine white sandy beaches are also sizeable assets .
Transports:
A bus " Peninsula " flows during the two -month vacation, and provides two lines:
Line 1: Kerhostin - Portivy - Saint Pierre Quiberon - Quiberon railway station - Quiberon place Hoche - Quiberon Port Maria
Line 2: Kerné - Port Maria - Place Hoche - Thalasso - Conguel - Port Haliguen - train station - Kerné
