“Even though Likuliku is renowned for it's over water bures, I would again choose to have a Beach side room with plunge pool. You are meters from the beach, have some shade from the trees, a great daybed and the option to dive in the plunge pool. The outside shower is also great We did inspect the over water bures, they were impressive, glass sections in the lounge floor with the option of snorkelling off your deck but I think you would find no respite whatsoever from the boiling afternoon sun. Just a personal opinion but you can see the appeal of being over the water. I believe that at times guests choose to split their stay between on and off water bures. I would also suggest flying in by choppeAmazing lagoon, great for eating well and doing close to nothing. My wife & I stayed for 5 nights in a deluxe bura, Oct 2013. The lagoon is amazing. Crystal clear water, oodles of fish and quality coral. Some of the best snorkeling I've done, right off the beach. The resort is super quiet. There is only 50 buras on a large beach, and lots of honeymooners keeping to themselves. No kids allowed. All inclusive except for drinks and motorized activities. So the day revolves around breakfast lunch & dinner. Food is very good considering it's included. 3 course lunch, 4 course dinner every day.
