This shot became the heart of an interesting debate/talk at dinner while I was spending the night in Cooinda, in Kakadu National Park. The small town of Cooinda is one of the few lodging areas in the park. I was at the only restaurant in the town having a cold beer and doing some post production when a group of people took notice of my photo and started asking questions about it. After explaining HDR photography to the group, one gentleman inquired about the halo effect you can see at the bottom right hand corner of the sun.
